Good for small plant, but not for large ones

Good for small plant, but not for large ones
I feel this is not suitable for plants have some weight on top, like bougainvillea, monstella, tomato, etc. As described, it is mixed with coco peat and very light weighted, therefore does not hold the plants well. If I take out the plants by hand, it easily comes out from the soil. For trees, Need to mix mahagro&normal garden soil.Mahagro is suitable for small plants& germinating, example like money plant, basil, one season type flowers.

I've been using the product for more than a year now and am totally satisfied with the quality and the mixture. It has supported my indoor plants really well. It's quite light weight and allows a right amount of water drainage and retention. Only suggestion that the product may be made available in other metros as well. Tried ordering for someone in Delhi but it gets cancelled everytime.

I have used the soil for growing carrots, petunia, basil plants. I find that the soil is of good quality with the useful mixture of fibre and coir peat. I do wish that if it had some perlite mixed in it--it will greatly enable succulents also they can be grown wihout buying cactus and succulent mix separately. Perlite helps in making the soil loose and allows for water to not collect hence bringing in porosity to the soil. This is just my suggestion to improve the bandwidth of the soil usage. thanks

It’s been a while since I’ve been growing plants indoors and after using various different potting mixes I came across mahagro on amazon and I can pretty much say that this is totally worth every penny.

It holds moisture and has a great drainage which ensures no root rot. The plants have been thriving in this mix and I always carry this mix in a small poly bag when I’m going to get new plants to my nursery for them to be potted in this.

Few things to keep in mind:
      1) it can be used as a 100% medium for your plants just make sure to press the top layer a bit after potting to make sure your plant stays upright.
      2) always research on the plant you’re buying or recently got into your home for its light and watering needs. (Too much water isn’t the best for the plant always and neither is too much direct sunlight)
      3) you can always use less than instructed diluted seaweed on your plants once they settle in this medium to promote growth of your plants. (Although the mix contains slow release fertilisers extra nutrition never harms unless you’re over fertilising which is harmful)
      4) do not add any vermiculite or organic khaad/compost since it can increase chances of pest infestation.
      5) plants are like kids always remember to care for them and their growth needs.

      Happy gardening.

So I am writing after using the soil for a couple of months. The coco-peat concentration is high in the soil, which means that it does not dry as fast as normal soil. This needs to be kept in mind while using the soil for indoor plants as the top soil dries faster than the inner layers. It is easy to mistake and overwater the soil leading to root rot. This happened with me for a few of my plants. However, the soil is nutritious. If one keeps the watering conditions in mind then it is not a bad choice. I would use it but only after mixing with common soil.

The soil has a nice texture , looks premium, I have used it for sowing seeds as well as potting plants. For both I had good success. The delivery was hassle free and packaging appropriate. Did not require any fertilizer additions and very much value for money. This I would surely buy again in a week.

The soil smells great in rains, no foul odour and does not stain. It gives my comfort to grow edible in the soil.

Waste of buying. I have ordered 2 bags .my all rose plants died when I keept in this potting mixing they said 4x growth will be there but not even plant was surviving.the plants in normal soil are very good.when I contacted them they said to keep a new plant I planted 2 new plants I have taken care what is needed for rose plants but no use the potty mixing is not giving strength to the roots hence plants was died. buy seeing product video I trusted and bought but totally waste of my money useless totally.its better to make ur own potty mixing by cocopeat, vermi compost, soil, neem powder and vermiculite the budget will be also less and u will have better growth it's far better than this maha gro.a request to maha gro change name as maha junk potty mixing.if u want to waste ur money then go for it.Amazon stop selling this cheap quality product with high price.not even worth single penny.🗑️🚮

Product as described but I would not count on it as the sole potting mix. It is too light to hold off the stem. Also I tried to germinate seeds using this but it did not work. But yes, after mixing it with another company's heavy black mud it worked fine.
Currently I have used it in my curry leave plant that i purchased from a nursery. So I have 90% of MahaGro and 10% of the original mud. So far it is going going. This mud drains very well.

One of my staff suggested me to use mahagro product for my garden.. I bought mahagro potting mix a month back to use it on my plants. The result has been very good . Even in the summer the soil is holding water and you do not see plants look dull at the end of the day. This is best for all kinds of plants in pots and for people living in apartments, this will be very useful as no much water required . Will definitely buy more for my garden and keep my garden greenish all the time.. Thanks mahagro..
